
Chocolate Chip Cookies
2 c white sugar
1 c brown sugar
4 eggs
1 c oil
Mix together
4-1/4 c flour
1 tsp bs
3/4 tsp salt
chopped nuts
chocolate chips
350°, 8-10 min
Ultimate Sugar Cookies
1-1/4 c sugar
1 c butter
2 eggs
1/4 c light corn syrup
1 T vanilla
3 c flour
3/4 tsp bp
1/2 tsp bs
1/2 tsp salt
Heat oven to 375°. Combine sugar & butter in lg bowl. Beat at med speed of electric mixer until well blended & fluffy. Combine 3 c flour, bp, bs, & salt. Add gradually to creamed mixture at low speed. Divide into 4 quarters. If dough is too sticky or soft, refrigerate for at least one hour. Ct out with cookie cutters. Place 2" apart. Bake on 375° for 5-9 min.
East to Roll Sugar Cookies (yield: 4-5 dozen)
1 c marg (butter makes dough sticky)
1 to 1-1/2 c sugar, white
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla
1 tsp salt
1/4 tsp nutmeg
1/2 tsp cinnamon
3-1/2 c sifted flour
1 tsp soda
2 tsp cream of tartar
Optional: for more flavorful cookie, add 1 tsp orage peel or lemon peel.
Cream butter in mixing bowl with electric beater. Add sugar gradually and beat until light and fluffy. Add eggs, vanilla, spices, and remaining dry ingredients. Mix thoroughly.
Roll dough to 1/4" thickness on lightly floured board. Cut into desired shapes with cookie cutters. Decorate with colored sugar or nuts, cinnamon drops, candied fruit, chocolate sprinkles or just plain sugar.
Bake in preheated 375° oven for 12-15 min. Be careful not to over bake.
No Bake Cookies
1 cube butter

4 tsp vanilla
1 c milk
Bring to a boil & boil for 2 minutes (using wood spoon). Then add:
1 c peanut butter
5 c oats
